About The Press USA

The Press USA gives you the five most important stories in the United States every day, told straight: what happened, who it affects and what comes next. It is nonpartisan by design, with no spin, and every claim links to its source.

What's in each edition

  1. Five US stories. Each one in three short paragraphs: what happened, who it affects, what comes next.
  2. Sources, linked inline. You can check every fact yourself, right where you read it.
  3. Quick answers. Each edition closes with two or three plain questions and short answers drawn from the stories.

How we report

Primary sources come first: bill text, court orders, agency releases and official data. Then wire services and free outlets. Paywalled outlets are linked, never copied.

When a story is contested, each side's position is stated in its own terms and attributed to whoever said it. No adjectives that take sides, no alarm words and no "breaking" hype. Numbers are exact: the vote count, the date, the dollar figure.

Everything we publish is based on real, verified reporting and research, written in our own words, with sources linked.

Who it's for

Anyone across the political spectrum who wants to know what happened in the country today without wading through slant or a hundred headlines. It's written to be read on a phone in a few minutes, in the morning or over lunch.

Who runs it

The Press USA is one of the BUZZZ publishers, owned and edited by Cara Coley in Miami, Florida.
